In 2003 Bi-City Woodturners was formed as a non-profit organization focusing on the art of woodturning. The club provides a meeting place for woodturning enthusiasts to meet and share ideas and techniques regarding the craft. Members also perform demonstrations at schools and community organizations.

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in woodturning, no matter the skill level. An annual single membership is $35 and an annual family membership is $40.

Bi-City Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners and supports its purposes.
